LAME Alert

Well.. its confirmed. I've lost my mojo.... my drinking, fun-loving, weekend warrior college student mojo that is. Ever since I graduated I've become more and more happy with nights in and when I do go out, I'm happiest with a drink (or two at most) at a nice place with a few girlfriends followed by being in bed by midnight. Lame? Maybe... but I just haven't been in the mood to go all-out crazy these days.

Last night was fun. Just what I needed. Two of my girlfriends and I had a leisurely, but fun night at a really nice bar uptown and watched the Sox vs. Yankees game/sampled the cocktails menu/laughed & reminisced of good times from the summer... the usual.

I enjoyed a delicious, long overdue Blue Moon and a few pieces of the fresh baked bread... then we headed over to our regular bar locale, the ever so classy Pancho's for karaoke night... had a Michelob Ultra and once the 9th inning came to a close, all 3 of us looked at each other and it was clear: we are old ladies ready for PJ pants and BED!

Whatevaaaa... I was the happiest girl ever once I got home and zonked out.

My brother's birthday is mid-October, however, and his girlfriend has a reallyyy fun night planned that involves a limo full of my brother's friends, some of my coworkers (his gf works at the same place I do), and ME... and a night of VIP status at the best bars & clubs.


On the bright side, I wake up thanking myself for that very often though :)

And I did exactly that this morning...

Started with Breakfast:
1 c. water
1/2 c. oats
1 naner-bananer
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Tbsp. of slivered almonds
Tbsp. of Teddie PB
Tsp. of All-Fruit seedless Raspberry

Perfect fuelage for the gym session...

40 mins. treadmill / 5 min. cooldown
3.6 miles
410 calories

--Power walked (4.0) the first mile at a 5.0 incline
--Ran the rest (5.8) followed by a 5-min cooldown

10 mins. elliptical / 3 min. cooldown
approx. 100 calories

--Cardio setting

I was sooo sore today after my workout... my abs were still feeling my Core Yoga session from yesterday and I've felt weak all night (definitely threw myself back into weight lifting way too!) which is probably why I feel like I could sleep for the next 24 hours straight..

Loved it!! Perfectly sweet and yummy... I didn't get too much actual "graham" flavor in my opinion but it didn't come off tasting like a cookie like alot of the other bars I've tried do...

I had a weird eating day ...a WED as Sarah would say haha.
I DIDN'T have a "formal" lunch.. which is weird for me.
Because I had breakfast around 10ish and went to the gym at 12... followed by not getting back home until 330ish/4 I just couldn't get into lunch mode.

Do you ever get that??
Feel like its TOO late for lunch but too early for dinner so you just snack instead?

Its more of a mental thing for me, I think... But anyway.. that was me today.

After my granola bar I got home and my stomach's timing was off sooo I went for a snack instead and figured it would hold me over...

Enter... Strawberry Chobani topped with Honey Sunshine. Yum :)

Still felt hungry so I noshed on some red grapes:

Then (even though it was only 7ish - which is a very early dinnertime for me) my stomach was growling so I made dinner.

The fam planned on calzones for dinner but I wasn't too thrilled for a huge white-flour pizza dough stuffed with mozzarella, ricotta, etc. so instead I fixed up my own little calzone alternative :)

-- Took one WW Pita & split it in half
--Topped each with a spoonful of sauce and spread it around then drizzled just a few drops of EVOO on top
--Sauteed some sliced up summer squash & zucchini leftovers
--Topped each pita with sliced mushrooms, baby spinach, broccoli, and the summer squash then a light sprinkle of FF all-natural mozz
--Baked in a 425 degree oven for about 10 mins

Holy Awesome!

I couldn't even tell the difference between this and any other full-fat pizza you would order from another place... I ate 1-1/2 of the 2 mini pizzas (my mom & stepdad wanted to sample the last half themselves) and the veggies easily filled me up and left my belly happy-happy :)

A little extra warm marinara on the side and this was a very quick & easy dinner

My sweet tooth kicked in twice tonight.... this was the first time:
A glass of chilled Chardonnay ;)

Andddd again an hour later...
1 scoop Stonyfield After Dark Chocolate FF Frozen Yogurt
Sprinkle of slivered almonds on top

The only downside to these yummy eats... I'm going to awake from a dead sleep in the morning CRAVING breakfast like no other. I'm so used to eating dinner around 9pm or so that when I eat my last main meal of the day early (around 6 or 7pm) I end up ravenous... sometimes even dreaming of delish food until I wake up! Its NUTS.

Do you ever have this problem?
