Benefit Day!!

This is going to be quick, easy, & painless (yes--TWSS) because I'm racing around getting ready for the Making Strides benefit I mentioned yesterday at work!

Yesterday was nuts.. Began with a Detox Yoga session then I went shopping and came out with a few good finds (pics to follow, don't you worry!) ran some errands & came home feeling... less than great. I was originally planning on going to the gym right after the mall but unfortunately I wasn't feeling up to it.. which is rare for me! I actually feel worse physically if I Don't go but for some reason my body was telling me it wasn't the best idea. After a restful night with a few light snacks (that's all my stomach could really handle) and an early turn-in, I woke up feeling better today :)

I want to get some gym time in today and I'm really hoping I have time, although work is 11-3 and the benefit's 5-9... :(

Do you have any suggestions for how to fit in some light exercise when you just DON'T have enough hours in the day on certain days??

Anyway... Lunch was eaten in the car on the way to the mall yesterday...

I've said it before & I'll say it again... these are awesome. Perfect combo of both sweet & salty.. and dare I say I got more PB chips in this bar compared to the first one I tried?? Yeah I think so... ;)

Came home feeling crappy & put on my comfies once again...

I did manage to make a decent dinner though that my stomach agreed with...
I remade another broiled portabella mushroom stuffed with:
~Light French Onion Laughing Cow
~Topped with Rinaldi Tomato Basil sauce
~Sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.

And enjoyed it with a small side of WW Penne with some more Tomato Basil sauce...

I woke up this morning craaaaving cereal... Just regular cereal. Like cereal & milk. I love love love cereal, I'm a fiend, I'll eat it anytime of day and have a smile on my face. But ever since it started getting chilly out, my mornings are usually filled with a bowl of warm & hearty oatmeal. But today I just knew I wanted the simple breakfast I used to eat every day....
The last of my Kashi Honey Almond Flax (about 3/4 cup) & 3/4 cup of Honey Sunshine with a splash of skim milk....

With a hazelnut coffee of course....

Ahhh cereal, I've missed you :) My belly is VERY happy right about now!

Now off to a jam-packed day of work, music, raffles, and raising money for breast cancer research!!!!!! :) Plus a drink or two in there to celebrate said money-raising... Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday!


  1. I love cereal to! My dad buys three boxes and they don't even make it through the week. I munch on them a little to often. I hope you raise tons of $$$ at the benefit!
